At times our own light goes out
and is rekindled by a spark from another person.
Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude
of those who have lighted the flame within us.

"The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today
would be to start being grateful for what you have right now
. And the more grateful you are, the more you get."

Oprah_

When I found and read this quote my thoughts went something like this
We spend so much time looking for happiness

Once we have what we think will make us happy
we move onto the next
"want"
For 2012
I want to enjoy with
Gratitude
what I have
accomplished in years gone by
(not to say moving forward isn't a good thing,
just appreciate what you have already worked hard for)

 How about you?
2012
going to have you living each day in an state of Gratitude?

  1. These days I am so happy when we have a sunny day. Could care less how cold just sunny. So today I am happy for sunny days!

  2. I try so hard to be grateful...interestingly enough last night we went out to eat and then went ahead to the grocery store to get the shopping finished before the weekend. So we were in Wal-mart and stood in line for 20 min. and no lanes were open, and we were grumbling, blah, blah, blah...well, on the way home we started talking about a friend who died of pancreatic cancer and whenever we start talking about death, it upsets my 12 year old son and he asked us to stop. We explained to him that we take those instances to remind us how fortunate we really are and he said, 'yeah, you guys complained about waiting in line for 20 min. but I saw it as 20 min. we were spending with eachf other...out of the mouths of babes...so true!
    Thanks for sharing!
