Inspiration : Being Ourselves
If we want to experience life to the fullest, we first have to discover
who we are.
We need to discern what is important to us in life
personally.
We must decide which of our thoughts are reflections of our
true inner selves,
and which thoughts and perspectives are layers of
personality
that we use to hide behind.
Distinguishing between our
limiting thoughts
and
the unlimited potential that resides
within
allows
us to embrace our Internal Power.
Are you willing to take a stand of who you are?
I did just that when I decided to
People often ask
"why ?"
we live
what they perceive as
minimal..
My reply is
"we own it all'
then I ask them
"can you say that, about your life"?
Most will answer
"NO"..
Have you found your true inner self?
share in comments
what (if any ) changes you have made
in your life
to be true to yourself.

That is a good question. We strive to be everything everyone else wants us to be. We fill titles all day long, wife, mother, grandma, daughter, homemaker... the list goes on. I like to think of myself outside of an A-type stereo type, but I must confess, my German heritage stands out. 'My way or the wrong way!" ( joke there). On the person side I like to think of myself as creative. Give me a box of colouring pencils and no menu dead line and I am in my bliss. As far as changes go, that is an evolving attitude, as some children leave home to spread their wing, younger ones fill the gap, and my parents now too fill that void. I can say at 50 I never thought in a million years I would be a caregiver to so many, worry about so many. In the long range changes have happened over time. You don't notice them until you have completely changed you attitude and habits.
ReplyDeleteSure at times I wished I had more or at least the means to be able to get more. But I am happy and satisfied with what I have. I am content. And being content, at least in my life, is a good thing.
